Specialist Healthcare

Castlebeck has a high quality clincial resource supporting front-line staff leading to national expertise being delivered at a local level. Our people, interactions, systems and procedures create a structure which supports staff to make secure and positive attachements to the people we support.

Castlebeck provides 24-hour care, treatment and support - provided by specialist nurses who are trained to work with people with learning disabilities. They are supported by excellent and experienced care staff.

Our own teams of psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists provide a consulting resource for front-line staff, as well as working directly with users themselves.

Each service user also has access to an enhanced GP service.

Castlebeck is a nurse and support staff-led service. Ultimately, all other disciplines, whether clinical, operational or in any other part of the company, work to facilitate the support of front-line staff to those who live with us.

We provide high quality effective support that continuously strives to improve and is based on available evidence and best practice.

While clinicians work on a local and regional basis generally, their particular expertise is available to all services across the country.

In this way Castlebeck has specialist expertise in a number of areas including learning disability, mental health, risk assessment, acquired brain injury, autism, ADHD, forensic practice and others.

This includes a range of psychology, psychiatry, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and clinical nurse specialists.
