Support for All
Partnerships, Supported Living, residential services: Everyone is different - and that goes for people who need support as much as anyone else.
Once people have worked very hard with support from direct staff and clinicians to leave behind many of their difficulties, it is essential to get going and get living. There will be different ways of achieving this for different people and Castlebeck can provide different kinds of help.
Residential Services - -Small group living with staff on hand wherever needed and all the other benefits of community living. This tends to suit people who need a robust structure to help maintain the progress they have made. There are clinicians and others in the background, but readily accessible, to help if needed. Castlebeck can provide these services in some areas, or work with others who provide them.
Supported Living - Here the person is the tenant or owner of their own home and might, for example, organise their own support staff. People may live on their own or with a small number of others with whom they have chosen to live. Castlebeck works alongside other people who provide supported living services. This may involve limited clinical support or access to more intensive support if needed without it being seen as a break down or failure.
The aim is to enable people to define and achieve the kind of life and relationships that work for them with the outcome being the quality of life for that individual.
