Where we Are - North East
Whorlton Hall
Whorlton Hall is an acute service which offers assessment and intervention for 26 people with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex needs.
The first Castlebeck service ever opened, more than 20 years ago, it provides a level of support for people who may previously have found it difficult to find services which could meet their needs.
Patients are encouraged to take part in activities using the activities programme. This aims to enable people to structure their time; build relationships and establish a balance between work, self care and leisure. Individual plans are developed with each patient with the aim of working towards their individual outcomes.
