Ellen Mhor
Friendly and inviting, at the heart of a busy community in Dundee, Ellen Mhor is a purpose-designed community rehabilitation unit for people with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
It specialises in the ongoing treatment and rehabilitation of 12 adults and offers the chance for people to continue their treatment in pursuit of their potential, being ideal for those referred from other facilities as part of progressing along their care pathway.
Ellen Mhor is also ideal for people aged 35-50 who currently live at home with their parents but whose circumstances need outside assistance.
The building itself provides smaller self-contained living areas which are flexible and can be adapted to individual needs. There is a semi-assisted flat which has its own internal entrance which offers the opportunity for even more independent living.
Its central location in Dundee allows service users to have easy access to the community as a key part of their individual care plan.
