Where we Are - Scotland
Anoach at Monroe House
Monroe House, an independent hospital, offers tailor-made support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs, who challenge services. The core support is provided for men and women with high-end challenging behaviours and complex needs, including those liable to be detained under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.
Anoach is a hospital-based treatment and rehabilitation service for 12 people, allowing a move on from Etive (also on the Monroe House site), prior to them moving on to more community based settings, such as at Ellen Mhor.
All bedrooms are en-suite and people are encouraged to individualise their own rooms. Living areas are welcoming and include homely lounges and dining rooms.
Corbett Lodge, in the grounds of Monroe House, provides a base for individualised programmes of educational, occupational, recreational and therapeutic activities.
