Our Credentials

Castlebeck first obtained the Investors in People award in 2000, and successfully retained this recognition following a reassessment in 2003. This affirms our commitment to select, train, and retain the best people for our facilities. Following the reassessment, IIP said "Castlebeck continues to have a very strong training and development infrastructure in place which fully reflects the Investors in People principles. There is evidence of excellent practices in relation to the company's development of its people."

In December 2003, Castlebeck successfully received the new ISO 9001:2000 quality award. The ISO quality accreditation process includes reviews of an organisation's systems and processes, its approach to quality, the involvement of its people, and its commitment to continuous improvement.

We are also an accredited City & Guilds Assessment Centre, which supports our comprehensive in-house training and development programmes.

Feedback from employee surveys about working for Castlebeck has been very positive. A key attribute of our workforce is the personal satisfaction and pride that they take from seeing our service users develop.

Our Commitment to Training

Castlebeck has its own internal training department that provides a wide range of in-house programmes for all grades of staff. Access to external training and development opportunities is supported where relevant to the individuals job role.

In 2003 we started to implement e-learning programmes in all of our facilities. This enables all employees to undertake certain programmes at the workplace, at their own pace, and still achieve the appropriate certification or awards. We will be expanding the range of available programmes in the coming years.
