Excellent care and qualified nursing staff are supported by a Multi-Disciplinary team, providing psychology, psychiatry, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy consultancy, based around a unique, evidence-based clinical model. Our nursing staff have specialist qualifications in Learning Disabilities. Specialist Behavioural Nurses enhance the highly focused care programmes, supported by Clinicians with a wide range of complementary expertise and experience.

All staff are encouraged to develop their skills and experience; Castlebeck’s own Training Department provides specialist training, including through the Learning Disabilities Award Framework (LDAF), MAYBO (Conflict Management Training), as well as National Vocational Qualifications and Scottish National Vocational Qualifications training for care staff.

Castlebeck is a recognised Investor in People and an accredited City & Guilds Assessment Centre. External programmes and e-learning materials are increasingly being used to maintain professional development.
